Crowded Castle Brewing Company has been hard at work renovating its new brewery and tasting room at 242 Bridge Street in Phoenixville. Great news: the brewery is almost ready to open its doors and is looking toward a grand opening date in May. Check out the progress in the video below:
The brewery is co-owned by a group of 10 friends and family members, with each member of the group taking on a different role to support the operation of the business. The head brewer, Mark Sofio, is utilizing a 7½-barrel brew system with six fermenters. The plan is to offer a wide variety of beer styles, including the well-loved CÔPR IPA, which has been served and well received on the beer festival circuit for a few years.
The tasting room will feature Crowded Castle’s beers as well as some local Pennsylvania wines and small bites like cheese and charcuterie boards.
