Who said it has to be a holiday to celebrate? Wyebrook Farm is encouraging their fans and those who still haven’t visited to come on out pre-July 4th and have a festive experience before Wednesday’s holiday celebrations take place. They have a lot of new things going on, including an addition of 5 calves, so it’s the perfect time to stop in and learn what’s happening, shop at the market, eat the freshest food around and celebrate!
Not to mention, it’s the best opportunity to stock up on meats, cheeses and veggies for your July 4th parties. They have 2 steers, 2 pigs and 100 chickens this week so there should be plenty of meat for everyone’s BBQ’s. They will also have home made sausages and hot dogs, sliced roast beef, and pastrami for sandwich making. Picnic anyone?
Wyebrook will have their regular stellar line up in the cafe this week and The Swingin’ Foxes are set to play in the courtyard on Saturday from 2-5pm. Plus, a crew member is going to try roasting a pork shoulder on Sunday as well! You don’t want to miss that in action.
If the city life is keeping you away from the farmland heaven, your solution is here. Wyebrook now has a drop-off at COOK on 20th St. from 12-3pm every Tuesday. If you don’t get a chance to make it out to the farm, you can still get fresh meat each week. A list of their products is on the website and you simply send an email to [email protected] to place an order. More details on the collaboration, here.
Wyebrook is looking forward to all their “pre-festive” guests this weekend. Will they see you there?
