Ella’s Celebrates Summer with New Menu and Fresh, House Garden Ingredients

Summer hasn’t missed a beat this year, offering plenty of sunshine filled days to occupy with fun moments. Who could ask for anything more? There is one other aspect that completes a picture perfect warm weathered moment and that would be the right kind of seasonal cuisine. Not too heavy but not too light, with a hint of barbecue as the ultimate Summer flavor.

Chef Chad Jajczyk of Ella’s American Bistro is right in line with this year’s Summer, keeping in tune with all the amazing herbs and produce it has to offer. Thanks to the restaurant’s house garden and the creative culinary talents of Chef Jajczyk, the new summer inspired menu features a vegan house soup‚ roasted corn with red pepper jam‚ consisting of local sweet corn and jasmine rice. Some other newbies include a grilled vegetable tower featuring vegetables from the garden and local farmers, tofu served with a miso barbeque sauce and corn cakes, and a scallop plate with gochujang‚ peanuts and traditional Chinese brown sauce.
