Heirloom Vegetable Gardening Expert to Speak at Penn State Great Valley, Nov. 14

Heirloom vegetables often have a great story behind them, but it’s really all about the flavor. Find out for yourself when heirloom expert and former owner of Yore Vegetables, Marie Iannotti, relates the fascinating stories behind heirloom vegetables and which varieties are the easiest to grow, the tastiest to eat, and how to cultivate each one successfully.

Iannotti has been gardening for decades in gardens from New York to California. She has grown thousands of varieties of plants in her own gardens and keeps her skills honed by working with new homeowners as a gardening coach, identifying plants and problems.

On Wednesday, November 14th, the curious are invited to join Iannotti as she shares her expertise at Penn State Great Valley. Her speech is scheduled to enlighten all attendees with a beginner’s guide to growing heirloom vegetables. Unfolding at Musser Auditorium (The Conference Center at Penn State Great Valley) from 6:30 to 8 p,m,, the event will also include a book signing.
