Rex 1516 Celebrates the Season with a New Fall/Winter Drink Menu

It’s quite clear that winter is here. Your usual “beachtinis” and “Caribbean cocktails” just won’t make the cut anymore. Now it’s time to indulge in the seasonal sips that make dropping temperatures a bit more appealing.

REX 1516’s General Manager and mixologist, Heather Rodkey has a solution with the debut of their inaugural fall/winter cocktail menu. These seasonally sensational concoctions will put some pep in your step and have you ready to take on the chilly temps. Have a peek at a few selections below and don’t forget to stop by for the decadent flavors.

Chai Alexander – made with Salignac cognac, RumChata, chocolate bitters, creme de
cacao, and nutmeg, $11.

Sage Advice – Art in the Age Sage liqueur, Carpano Antigua, ginger, cranberry, and smacked sage, $12.

The Harvest – Laird’s apple brandy, Granny Smith and Macintosh apple-coriander shrub, Bartram’s bitters, and St. Germaine, $8.

REX 1516 is open for lunch 11:00a-4:00p every day, and dinner 5:00p-11:00p daily. Brunch at REX 1516 is served Saturday and Sunday’s from 11:00a-4:00p. The restaurant seats approximately 35 guests, and weather permitting, features an outdoor patio. REX 1516 takes reservations at 267-319-1366 and is located in Philly’s burgeoning South Street West neighborhood.
