Treat mom on her special day, and let Cafette do the cooking! On Sunday, May 12, Cafette will celebrate Mother’s Day by offering a Three-Course Prix Fixe Dinner Menu from 5 to 9 p.m.
Enjoy dining al fresco in Cafette’s charming courtyard (weather permitting) or in the cozy dining room. Mother’s Day menu items will include:
First Course (choice of)
Steamed Mussels in a sauce of tomato, basil, garlic and white wine
Pan Seared Large Artichoke served with garlic, oil and lemon aioli
Spring Lettuce Salad with candied pecans, gorgonzola cheese and sweet orange segments
Second Course
Grilled Filet Mignon with crisp potato anna, bleu cheese and watercress salad in roasted shallot vinaigrette & wild mushroom sherry butter
Pan Roasted Scottish Salmon with poached asparagus, citrus basmati and lemon dill sauce
Dessert
Strawberry Shortcake—sliced sweet strawberries, vanilla whipped cream and fresh strawberry sauce
Chocolate Pot de Crème served with whipped cream and fresh raspberries
The cost for the prix fixe meal is $35 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Kids 12 and under can choose from the Children’s Menu. Cafette’s a la carte dinner menu will also be available. A la Carte Brunch will be offered from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
