Cakebread Cellars, an iconic Napa Valley wine producer known for Chardonnay, is coming to the Dilworthtown Inn and the Inn Keeper’s Kitchen for a special Wine Maker Series Dinner on April 5 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Cakebread’s Toby Halkovich, Director of Vineyard Operations, will be joining in the fun remotely via the Internet to introduce the winery and the wines along with David D’Amore, who will be on site at the dinner. What better way to enjoy wines and explore the wine makers’ passion for their art than by hearing directly from them?
The Inn’s Cellarmaster Stephen McKinney and Inn Keeper’s Kitchen Executive Chef Aaron Wilson reached out to Cakebread Cellars to bring a few special bottles for this incredible evening of food and wine. Chef Aaron has created a menu intended to bring out the best in the wines.
Guest speaker David and Chef Aaron will talk about the wine and food pairing throughout the evening. Because the venue is limited to 40 guests, there will be plenty of time to speak with David about the winery and the subtle flavors from the wine. If you enjoy an insider’s perspective of Cakebread, this is an event not to miss!
Tickets for this exclusive, limited seating event are $120 per person. Call 610-399-1390 for reservations.
From theme menus like “Tour of Italy” and “London Menu” to “Along the Mississippi, American Heritage,” Dilworthtown Inn’s Wine Maker Series is redefining fine dining with its diverse food and wine events at the Inn Keeper’s Kitchen. The 2013 Wine Maker Series started with Caymus Winery (Wagner Family Wines) and Duckhorn Winery; Cakebread Cellars is the third in the series.
