An app we are currently digging keeps farmers and local food markets at your fingertips enabling you to track down the freshest, local produce wherever you’re traveling this summer. The Farmstand app, available for both iPhones and Droids, easily connects you with locally-grown food.
We love this app because it helps locate markets in whatever area you’re in (finds markets in the U.S, Canada, U.K., Australia and New Zealand) and allows you to share photos and post deals and goodies that you’ve found on Facebook and Twitter. What a fun way to support local markets, thank farmers, brag about incredible food artisans and tell everyone what’s great at your farmers’ market.
