The Brandywine Conservancy does so much to help the environment and our local community. Want to lend a hand and help in the final push to reach the goal of planting 50,000 trees by the Conservancy’s 50th anniversary in 2017? There are three upcoming dates for you to show your support, and your tree-planting abilities, by joining Brandywine Conservancy at their spring tree plantings.
This is a wonderful event for the whole family to take part in and show support for environmental preservation. Plus, it’s a lot of fun as well! Volunteers are asked to bring a shovel and gloves and to wear appropriate clothing, such as closed-toe shoes, for this outdoor project. Need an extra incentive? One of the planting dates, April 18, even involves food and beverages from Wyebrook Farm and Victory Brewing Company!
Take a look at the following dates and locations to see which one is most convenient for you to attend, and contact the Brandywine Conservancy at (610) 388-8318 to sign up.
April 18: Wyebrook Farm (150 Wyebrook Rd., Honey Brook), 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
