ROOT Restaurant + Wine Bar, along with Jason Wilson, author of Boozehound, will be educating the public this December on the many facets of wine during a series of informative wine classes.
The Planet of the Grapes wine sessions will range from an educational journey involving the wines of Spain and Portugal to a holiday sparkling wine primer later in the month. Each class is $50 per person, with small snacks included. Individual classes are held from 3–4:30 p.m. on their respective dates. December classes include:
- December 3: Iberian Saturday Siesta featuring wines of Spain and Portugal
- December 10: Sherry, Baby. And Funky Cold Madeira
- December 17: Pop Fizz. A Holiday Sparkling Wine Primer
