A new spot for wine aficionados will soon be opening its doors in downtown York and this new addition will offer wine options and so much more.
The Handsome Cab at 106 North George Street will have its grand opening on January 27 at 5 p.m. and co-owners Robert Godfrey and Andrew D’Agenais will be offering a location which not only features a stellar wine list but an exceptional menu. The lunch menu will consist of soups, salads and sandwiches while the dinner menu will feature small plate offerings and traditional dishes. Sunday brunch will be an addition in the near future, as well.
The overall atmosphere of The Handsome Cab will be further enhanced with the addition of an onsite art gallery. Currently, 15 York County artists are on the roster to display artwork at the restaurant. The art gallery will be located on the second floor and run by local artist Brenda Wintermyer. The art gallery will be opening at a later time yet to be determined.
