Have you noticed the staff at Side Bar & Restaurant is looking a bit scruffy lately? It’s all for a good cause! They’ve stopped shaving their beards and have teamed up with local salons to raise awareness and contributions in support of SHINE, a volunteer organization providing vital services for patients living with cancer in Chester County. Its mission is to lessen the burdens by helping neighbors confront the challenges of cancer with dignity, determination and hope.
On Saturday, April 27, from 2-5 p.m., help shave off the beards at the SHAVE OFF for SHINE! For a minimum donation of just $5, enjoy a great party, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a DJ and the live action of your favorite local bartenders and servers shaving it all off for a good cause.
Specials for the event include $2 domestic drafts, $3 craft drafts, $3 Stolichnaya drinks and $5 house wines.
Participating Salons include Avanté Main Street in Exton, Avanté West Chester, Calista Grand, La Difference, Salon 7, Van Ryn’s Barber Shop, Champions, Currie Hair Skin & Nails and Headquarters.
