East Goshen Township is proud to introduce their very own farmers’ market today, June 30 from 3 to 7 pm, and will continue to host the market every Thursday through summer and early fall.
Chester County’s newest farm market will be located in the beautiful East Goshen Twp. Park on Paoli Pike in East Goshen. Find the seasonal market at the Veteran’s Pavilion between the basketball courts and soccer fields (past the playground).
Established to provide fresh, locally grown produce and products to the area-wide community, the 16+ vendor market (plus, five more joining in next week) will offer the following:
- a wide selection of locally-produced goat, sheep and raw milk cheeses
- antibiotic and hormone-free beef, pork, lamb and poultry
- a wide array of baked goods and artisan breads
- local honey and maple syrup
- coffee and fresh-squeeze lemonade
- hand-crafted soap
- “ready-to-eat” vendors
- …plus much more!
Participating vendors include: Battavio’s Honey, Blueberry Hill Farm, Highland Farm, Made in the Shade Lemonade, Mompops Popsicles, My House Cookies, Red Haven Farms, Ridge Valley Maple Syrup, Shellbark Hollow Farm, Taproot Farm, Wildflower Bakery, and several others.
Better yet, the market will offer both live music and children’s entertainment each week, plus ample amounts of parking for all market-goers.
