Earlier this month, we reported that Pale Horse Gastropub of East Gay Street in West Chester had closed its doors. But, it didn’t take long to fill the downtown space.
We are happy to announce that as of this Thursday, Aug. 25, The Social Lounge will host its grand opening, from 7 to 10 pm. The brand-new bar and lounge comes from Don Moore, the same gent behind East Market Street’s music venue, The Note (they’re even calling this space the Note’s “sister location”).
The Social Lounge is suggested to become West Chester’s go-to “party venue,” designed in sleek “village-style” decor. The space will host live acoustic acts, DJs, a dance floor and much more. Plus, they will serve up a notable craft beer selection, plus affordable cocktails and wines.
For more information about the Social Lounge, visit thesocialwc.com. They currently are hiring all staff positions, including bartenders, barbacks, security and waiters. To inquire about positions, visit their Facebook by clicking here. WCDish will report more specifics later this week.
