#3: Overnight Guest Suites
Their name is the General Warren Inne – but few realize they are actually a fully functioning Inne…with hospitality to boot! The GWI boasts 8 charming guest suites located on the second and third floors. Guests will love the spacious rooms and authentically historic decor. However, the modern amenities include: private bathrooms, flat screen TVs and DVD players, central air/heating, and gas fireplaces. The Franklin Suite even has a Jacuzzi. One of the biggest misconceptions about the GWI is that it is expensive. The upscale restaurant certainly offers a very high quality product, but their intimate weddings are VERY affordable! This is in part because they do not charge a rental fee for the facility. That applies to private parties as well.The price for your wedding will depend on the price of the menu chosen. You may either build your menu from scratch for a formal sit down reception, select one of the three pre-arranged menus (starting at only $43 per person), or you may opt for stations. Beverages are charged by consumption. This ensures you’ll only pay for what is consumed AND that you and your guests will receive top-notch service.
In addition to no rental fee, you will have a wedding planner from the General Warren Inne work with you every step of the way. Patrick or Tim will assist in all aspects from menu selection right through to the cutting of the cake, so there are no worries. The GWI is a one-stop-shop.
