Thanksgiving dinner is always about the food – no argument here – however, paying a little attention to the décor won’t hurt anyone! These are a couple easy ideas to add some flavor to your table.
- Thanksgiving Teepee Cupcakes from These Are a Few of My Favorite Things
- Handwriting on leaves from Jeanne Winters
- Gilded fruit tablescape from Wedding Chicks
- Place setting with sprig of thyme from Valley & Co Lifestyle
- Fall fruit centerpieces from Inspiring Pretty
- Silverware from Style Me Pretty
I love the idea of handwriting on leaves, a super simple touch that adds an aspect of personalization to your table. Use them for place cards or to have your guests write down what they are thankful for.
I’m also loving the gilded fruit that we’re seeing in a lot of décor this season – pomegranates, mini-pumpkins, pears, squash – you name it! Use the fruit to decorate the plates at your table or in a centerpiece. They add such a great element of texture that many don’t take advantage of!
So this Thanksgiving, eat, drink and be merry, but don’t forget décor makes an impression as well as the food!
