On Sunday, June 8, the Thorndale-Downingtown Rotary Club set up shop across the street from Kerr Park in Downingtown and hosted nine different local vendors in a cook-off style competition featuring delicious variations on an American staple side dish: mac-n-cheese.
The different recipes were sure to please a wide variety of palates. Edibles aside, this event was fun for all ages, with WMGK 102.9 providing a tent for several activities for the kids and a Victory Beer garden set up for the over-21 crowd.
The four categories given awards were Judges’ Choice–Restaurant, Judges’ Choice–Business, People’s Choice and Kids’ Choice. Here’s who took home first place in each category.
