On June 16, lace up your sneaks and get ready to race through Media during the Annual Media 5-Mile Race.
Registration is now open for this popular running event, which will begin at 7 p.m. on State and Jackson Streets. The cost to partake in this fun and invigorating jaunt through town is $45 per person. The number of race participants will be capped at 1,600 runners to ensure a safe and enjoyable run.
Do you have little ones who would love to take part in the fun as well? Be sure to sign them up for the Kids’ Fun Runs unfolding at 6 p.m. for children 11 years of age and younger. The kids’ run will take place at Barrall Field, located at Edgemont and State Streets (across from Media Elementary School). The children’s run is free; paper registrations can be picked up at Barrall Field.
Before and after the race, whether watching or running, be sure to enjoy live entertainment, vendors and Media’s fabulous dining establishments.
