Dogfish Head Lupu-Luau IPA
After discovering how great coconut worked as an ingredient in IPAs, the brewers at Dogfish Head set out to make an IPA using as much coconut as they could. They first perfected the IPA base and introduced malted and raw wheat to get a hazy look. Then a boatload of coconut was added in three different ways: toasted coconut, dehydrated coconut water and an experimental hop variety that provides a unique coconut & woody aroma. The result? A juicy, coconutty lupulin party-in-a-bottle.
Rogue Good Chit
Named after the word used to describe the tiny roots that emerge from a barley kernel during germination, Good Chit is Rogue’s newest pilsner offering. The barley used to create this pils is grown in Rogue Farm’s volcanic-rich soil at Tygh Valley, Oregon and then transferred to the malt house to be floor-malted, an ancient brewing practice. The grain is spread across a specialized floor where it is hand-turned every 12 hours for over a week. Now that’s love! Once the barley creates “chits” (or sprouts) that start to grow, it is transported to the brewery to become Good Chit Pilsner.
Allagash Hoppy Table Beer
With Allagash’s introduction of Hoppy Table Beer, it warrants the question, “What’s a table beer?” This term refers to low-ABV, malty, sippable beers in the Belgian tradition, which pair well with food. In Allagash’s version, you’ll find notes of grapefruit and citrus, a light malt profile and a silky texture. The finish is hoppy, as one would assume from the name of the beer. With a 4.8% ABV, you can definitely enjoy a few of these in good company over a meal.

Iron Hill’s newest seasonal session IPA was brewed specifically to be enjoyed on the beach while catching some rays. And with an ABV of 5%, you can do just that.
