When you visit Máquina Coffee’s website on National Coffee Day, know that your purchase is going straight to supporting a great cause. Proceeds from all sales on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are being donated to hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico. In addition, the company is donating 5% of sales to the cause through the end of 2017. When asked about the generous donation, co-owner and operator Gabriel Boscana said, “As part of the Máquina vision, we believe in doing as much good as we can in the world with our tiny business. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico until the age of 8, and all of my family is still down there. I feel an obligation to do as much as I can with the vehicle of coffee and compassion.” Online only

Celebrate National Coffee day with a warm cuppa and cheers to the weekend. With all of these great options waiting for you, it looks like it might be a two-cups-of-coffee kind of day (or more)!
