Ingredients
- 2 cups quick oats or old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 cups whole milk, or non-dairy milk
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh or frozen berries, optional, for topping
- 1/4 cup nut butter, like peanut, almond, or sunflower, optional, for topping
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts or seeds, optional, for topping
Method
- Combine the oats, milk, honey, vanilla and salt in a large bowl.
- Divide the mixture evenly among 4 resealable jars or containers.
- Seal jars and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or overnight.
- Open jars and add toppings, like berries, nut butter, chopped nuts or seeds, to each jar, as desired. Serve cold, or warm in the microwave.
