Did you know that cabbage is a superfood? This dense, cruciferous veggie is packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. We often see it in sides like coleslaw, kimchi and sauerkraut or tucked into a soup, but there are tons of other surprising ways to incorporate this spheric wonder into your meals.
This cabbage and noodles skillet uses shredded green cabbage to deepen the flavor and heartiness of an otherwise simple pasta dish. It makes a great meal all by itself or with protein added on top. Including cooked ham or bacon in the recipe will add a nice salty layer of flavor.
