Whoopie pie. Yuengling. Scrapple. These words make perfect sense to us Pennsylvanians, but for those from California, we may as well be speaking another language. What happened when a bunch of Left Coasters tried some of PA’s most famous foods for the very first time? The results, documented on video by Movoto Insider, were hilarious:
- Birch beer: “It smells like Smarties!”
- Scrapple: “It deserves a better name.”
- Yuengling beer: “We’re gonna need nine more of these before we come to a decision.”
- Ham pot pie: “Whatever they call this, cheers!”
- Whoopie pie: “This is a ‘Got Milk’ commercial waiting to happen.”
