Have you always wanted to create French culinary dishes but lacked the know-how to do so? The French Country Cooking Class at Hamanassett Bed & Breakfast on June 13 will teach you how to cook a variety of French menu items in a step-by-step instructional format.
Join Hamanassett innkeepers Glenn and Ashley Mon along with Executive Chef Melissa Walsh for a day of hands-on French cooking during two sessions, held from 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 2:30–5:30 p.m. Ten guests will start the day with a served breakfast, and then their time in the kitchen will begin. The first cooking session will create a six-course lunch, which will be served at 1 p.m. in the gardens. The second cooking session will prepare a six-course dinner, including honey lavender duck and caramelized pear tatin with gorgonzola ice cream, to be served at 6:30 p.m. in the Hamanassett dining room.
