Dave Magrogan Debuts Second Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar in Philadelphia

Did you know Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar was originally opened in 2010 in Glen Mills? Maybe so. But, we bet you didn’t know they have found a second home since then, and it’s right in University City! Owner Dave Magrogan has expanded his delicious concept to 40th & Walnut Streets in Philadelphia. Stop in for a visit and you’ll find that this is a great addition to University City as there are no other restaurants quite like it!

Harvest offers a sustainable, 500 calories or less, farm-to-table menu with over 70 local farmers contributing to this season’s menu. Four times a year, on the first day of the new season, Harvest changes it’s menu. Favorites from this current season have already emerged as Pear & Bleu Flatbread, Fall Salad, Autumn Scallops (pictured), and the PB & Jelly Crunch dessert. Plus, we heard the Pumpkin Chai is out of this world!

Both the Glen Mills location and Philadelphia location will be featuring the same seasonal menu and cocktails as well as an extensive wine list of over 50 wines — available by 4 oz or 7oz pours or the bottle.

To celebrate, Harvest Philadelphia hosted a private grand opening on Thursday, September 27th where over 450 guests enjoyed complimentary flatbreads, bison slider burgers, and Asian BBQ Shrimp. The guests raised over $2000 for the local charity PAWS. Harvest Philadelphia is now open to the public, every day beginning at 5 p.m. Lunch will be served beginning today (Friday, Oct. 5) at 11 a.m. For more information, or to make your reservation, visit harvestseasonalgrill.com or call 215.662.1100.
