As if life couldn’t get any better, Ben & Jerry’s and New Belgium Brewing Company went ahead and blew our minds with beer-infused ice cream. Beer and ice cream are pretty amazing on their own, but putting them together is, in a word, epic. As two Certified B Corporations (meeting high standards of “social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency“), these companies forged a delicious friendship for culinary, social and environmental good. The result is twofold: an amazing beer-infused ice cream and support of Protect Our Winters (POW), a group that collaborates with members of the snow sports community in an effort to battle climate change.
Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale ice cream, in true Ben & Jerry’s fashion, is hopped with flavor (pun intended). Infused with New Belgium Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale, the ice cream base is woven with salted caramel swirls and brownies. You can also pick up the beer in Folly Packs (and look for 6-packs in the near future). Sales of the brew will benefit POW too!
But why stop there? Ben & Jerry’s has thoughtfully put together several Ben & Jerry + New Belgium Brewing pairings—because shouldn’t every pint of ice cream be washed down with a bottle of craft beer?
