The Best Beef You’ll Ever Eat—Swarthmore Co-op Debuts Grass-fed Beef Buying Club

stonymountainThere’s nothing like the melt-in-your-mouth taste of grass-fed beef, but sometimes it’s hard to find the cuts you like when you want them. Enter Swarthmore Co-op, which recently launched its Cow-op Grass-Fed Beef Buying Club!

The co-op can hook you up with Stony Mountain Ranch, which produces Co-op-Certified grass-fed Piedmontese cattle. When you join the club and purchase an eighth of a cow, you’ll receive 40 pounds of incredibly delicious grass-fed beef. All of your favorite cuts of beef are part of your share, cryovacked and ready to be stored. Eighth packages include chuck eye, flat iron, ribeye, T-bone, filet mignon, London broil, brisket, beef cubes, marrow bone, ground beef and much more! It’s estimated that this size share can feed a small family for around six months (based on an average diet).

Several purchasing options are available, starting with the eighth share at $399.99. If you’ve got the freezer space, you can even order a whole cow! Buy your share here. For more information, give the Co-op a call at (610) 543-9805. You can also stop by the Co-op’s location at 341 Dartmouth Avenue in Swarthmore.
