Wine Down Your Work Week at Cooking Spotlight’s NEW Tasting Room, Kicks Off September 13

Good-bye work and hello weekend … It’s time to Wine-Down at Village Wine Spot! The first-ever Work Week Wine-Down will take place on Friday, September 13, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Village Wine Spot’s newly opened Tasting Room, located in Cooking Spotlight in the Village at Eland.

Start the weekend off right and enjoy Crossing Vineyards wines for purchase by the glass, bottle or tastings. Relax in the outdoor seating area and treat yourself to a sampling of the small plates menu. Local favorites Dave Weber & Donna Delany will provide a mix of classics and original songs from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Village Wine Spot sells wines exclusively from Crossing Vineyards & Winery, a family-owned and operated winery located on a 200-year-old Bucks County estate. “We’re delighted to represent Crossing Vineyards wines,” says Village Wine Spot’s manager, Vicky Hanko. “Crossing Vineyards has a wide variety of wines, so there’s a wine for everyone’s taste.”

The menu for the Wine-Down will be provided by Cooking Spotlight and will feature an array of small plates perfect for wine pairing, including a local cheese platter, Mediterranean dip platter and Wild Mushroom Crostini.

Village Wine Spot is open every Friday (4–8 p.m.), Saturday (noon–6 p.m.) and Sunday (1 – 5 p.m.) for tasting and buying wine by the glass or bottle. During these times, you can also purchase small plates from Cooking Spotlight and relax on the outdoor patio or inside the spacious dining area.
