It’s time for the 2013 Dogwood Festival! The whole family will love this great annual event, which takes place from May 13 through May 18!
Each day from noon til midnight, head to Reeves Park in Phoenixville for food, rides, entertainment and more. Take a whirl on the Teacups, fall into the Ring of Fire and spin yourself silly on the Himalaya; then enjoy different dance and musical performances each night, as well as the crowning of the Dogwood Prince and Princess on May 15. See the full list of rides and entertainment here. You can also count on plenty of great food to enjoy at the festival, including delicious eats from Sunflower Truck Stop Mobile Cafe, which will be set up at 2nd and Main Street all week long with new menu items each day. Follow the food truck on Facebook for more details.
The festival culminates in the Dogwood Parade on Saturday, May 18. Now in its 62nd year, the second largest parade in Chester County, which attracts more than 10,000 people annually, kicks off at 1 p.m.
It’s going to be a great week for a festival—enjoy!
