If you weren’t lucky enough to attend the first installment of The Mentor and the Protégé collaboration dinner, hosting renowned chef Georges Perrier aside Blackfish chef/owner Chip Roman, take advantage of part two!
Perrier of Le Bec Fin has invited Chip Roman, in a reciprocal gesture following his guest appearance at Chip Roman’s dinner at Blackfish this past February, to cook at Le Bec Fin on Monday, June 13.
Guests will tackle seven well-done courses for $95. Early seatings are at 5:30, 5:45 and 6 p.m. Later seatings are at 8:30, 8:45 and 9 p.m.
Roman started his chef career working as Perrier’s protégé at Le Bec Fin. Now, he not only owns Blackfish, but also Mica restaurant in Chestnut Hill. Le Bec Fin is located at 1523 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102. For reservations, call 215-567-1000.

- Yellowtail Kingfish “Sashimi Style”, Breakfast Radish, Yuzu Kosho, Moro Orange
- Applewood Smoked Scottish Salmon, Crispy Potato, Fried egg, Mizuna
- Liquid-Center Foie Gras Terrine, Sour Cherry, Iranian Pistachios, Brioche
- Black Sea Bass with Crispy Skin a l’ Orientale
- Roasted Breast of Squab, Stinging Nettles, White Asparagus and Morels, Pine Sprout
- Fourme d’Armbert, Beet Membrillo, Coco Nib, Marcona Almond
- Blackfish Beignet, Raspberry and English Cream
