Dominic’s Restaurant Italiano to Debut April 4 in Daddy Mim’s Location

Breaking news from Philadelphia Inquirer’s The Insider: Creole chef/restaurateur John Mims and partner Dominic Tammaro will open Dominic’s Restaurant Italiano on April 4, a pasta house with the feel and decor of an old church.

The new restaurant will be located at 150 Bridge St. in Phoenixville, the location known to many as the home of Daddy Mims.

Mims reports that he is returning back to one of his previous locations, 232 Woodbine Ave. in Narberth, for another new venture: to open Carmine’s Creole Cafe. Mims’ main focus will be on the new Narberth establishment, with Tammaro running the show at the coming-soon Bridge Street restaurant.

Mims’ previous eateries have been located in Havertown, Bryn Mawr, Center City, and Wayne. PA Eats wishes Mims and Tammaro the best of luck with their new endeavors!

PLEASE NOTE: Daddy Mims Creole BYOB is currently operating next door to its former spot, where The Columbia Bar and Grille once was, at 148 Bridge Street.
