Iron Works Church is working together with more than a dozen local sponsors to bring the first-ever Phoenixville Pumpkin Fest to life in Reeves Park on Saturday, October 29th from 2 to 7pm.
The FREE Pumpkin Fest will feature:
- Pumpkin Painting (great for children!)
- A LARGE Pumpkin Moon Bounce
- A Pumpkin Carving Demonstration Table
- Free pumpkin carving kits (while supplies last)
- Face painting
- Games, prizes, and a free raffle
Most importantly, the focal point of the Pumpkin Fest is the timed Pumpkin Carving Contest (click here to register) and the Pumpkin Derby. These two events have been HUGE hits when tried elsewhere in the country and they feature some some great prizes (all from local Phoenixville businesses).
Local business highlights of the festival includes Into the Sun Living Arts sending one of their highly-skilled tattoo artists on-site for the face painting tables. Other local businesses, including Molly Maguire’s and Artisan’s, will be live on-site selling food and beverages.
For the pumpkin carving contest, all of the judging will be done by representatives from the local businesses who are supplying the prizes. Phoenixville Pumpkin Fest is proudly sponsored by: Phoenixville YMCA, Artisans Gallery & Café, Molly Maguire’s, Rock & Roll After School, Phoenix Village Art Center, Phoenix Karate, and Rocco’s Pizza.

- 2:30 – 5:30 pm – Pumpkin Carving Contests
- 3:00 – 3:30 pm – Pumpkin Derby Judging
- 3:30 pm – Pumpkin Derby Race
- 4:30 – 5:00 pm – Pub Pumpkin Derby Race
- 5:00 pm – Free Raffle
- 5:30 – 6:30 pm – Pumpkin Judging
- 6:00 pm – Lighting of the Pumpkins
