“Farm fresh may be a buzz word in the recent locavore movement, but to Andrew Deery, it’s always been a way of life,” wrote Eileen Faust in her recent feature on Majolica in The Mercury.
Deery, a Phoenixville native and owner and chef at Majolica Restaurant on Bridge Street, grew up in a farm environment and is used to consuming the land’s bounty. He was featured in the most recent installment of the local newspaper chain’s “In the Kitchen” series, where he offered a how-to on how to prepare his mouthwatering Composed Tomato and Crab Salad.
