Phiz Fest is coming to the city, as one of the best local sparkling wine and food tasting events that will benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, to be held on November 18, 6 to 8:30 pm.

From white to red and bone dry to lightly sweet, the boundaries of Champagne and sparkling wines have been tested, and standard rules no longer apply. Area residents and visitors are invited to experience this new phenomenon while contributing to a good cause, as Phiz Fest 2010 makes its triumphant return to Philadelphia Thursday, November 18 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. The signature event takes place in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt at The Bellevue and benefits Thomas Jefferson University Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
A one-of-a-kind tasting event, Phiz Fest will exceed expectations, highlighting the finest in Champagne and sparkling wines and showcasing their versatility with a variety of meals. After all, this beverage of choice for celebrations and romantic moments is for more than just toasts, as it is flexible and flattering with a variety of dishes and occasions.
Participants will sample an ample assortment of Champagnes and sparkling wines, each with its own vibrant flavor. In addition, prominent area restaurants and food purveyors will prepare and serve a satisfying selection of appetizers, cheeses and cuisines that complement different types of sparkling beverages.

Advanced ticket prices are $49 per person until Thursday, November 11, after Thursday, November 11, tickets are $59 per person. Net proceeds benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Participants must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
