Singer-songwriters, start preparing your original songs for the Second Annual Songwriter Competition. Sponsored by Uptown! Entertainment Alliance, this fabulous competition allows songwriters to display their creativity and songwriting abilities, plus win recognition and some pretty fantastic prizes.
If you are a singer-songwriter who is a Chester County resident or who has performed four verifiable shows in Chester County in the last two years, you are eligible to compete. Simply submit an original song by December 12 and five finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges to perform on January 15, 2015, at Teca Restaurant & Wine Bar. The grand prize winner will be chosen by the audience and can win prizes such as $500 cash, studio time at TribeSound Recording Studio, a gift bag and a certificate of recognition. There is a $25 event participation fee.
