10 Trucks Share Tempting Reasons to Attend Chaddsford Winery Food Truck Fest

Chaddsford Winery‘s Fall Food Truck Fest, scheduled for November 1 and 2, promises a two-day-long feast for the senses, with live music, great food and lots of wine from 11 a.m.–7 p.m.

Curious about the food trucks that will be in attendance at the fest? Get your appetites ready—we’ve got the full rundown. All you need to do is clear your calendars and come hungry!

Pbon’s Fresh Phood of Philly

The owner of Pbon’s was formerly teacher in Oxford, Unionville and Garnet Valley school districts. The truck is named after the owner’s youngest brother, now a sophomore at Garnet Valley High School. Be sure to try the signature sandwich, the Pbon, a Philly pretzel roll with spicy sausage from South Philadelphia, egg and cheese. Pbon’s, the only food truck offering Philly pretzel roll sandwiches, also boasts a fantastic Philly Melt, in addition to other Philadelphia favorites fused with family traditions.

Surf and Turf Truck

A day at the beach in November? Yes you can! Just stop by the Surf and Turf Truck. The truck uses only domestic and wild caught seafood, without fillers or preservatives. Everything is made to order, so it’s fresh as fresh can be.  Look for lobster rolls, shrimp rolls, surf & turf rolls, vegetarian rolls and more.

The Flying Deutschman

The Flying Deutschman is Philadelphia’s first Currywurst truck. Currywurst, the number 1 selling street food item in Germany for the past two years, deliciously blends bratwurst with the Flying Deutschman’s house-made curry sauce. You have to taste it to believe it! Other menu items include Jaeger Schnitzel, Zigeuner Schnitzel, Wiener Schnitzel and a host of other schnitzels.

The Greek Street Truck

Greek Street is owned and operated by two food-loving women with a desire to share their love of good, simple affordable eats. Hungry patrons will definitely be lining up to get a taste of their classic gyros, spinach pie, stuffed grape leave, hummus and other favorites.

Ka’Chi

Ka’Chi incorporates authentic Korean flavors into each of its dishes, with a very modern flare. Food is made fresh every day from family recipes and offered at street-fare prices. One look at Ka’Chi’s menu will have you dreaming about what you’ll be ordering.

Say Cheese

Say Cheese Philadelphia is a purveyor of gourmet grilled cheese and other cheese-based sandwiches. Everything is made from scratch, from the slow-roasted brisket cheese steak, smoked rib eye, house made pancetta and bacon to marinated buffalo chicken with house-made blue cheese dressing. Note to buffalo-lovers: Say Cheese’s Buffalo Blue sandwich has been recognized by Zagat as one of the top five sandwiches of its type in Philly!

Wonderland Cakes

Wonderland Cakes is an artisan dessert truck focused on creativity, art and the aesthetic use of fine ingredients. Satisfy your sweet tooth and the rest of your senses with sugary treats that will please not just the palate but your eye as well.

Mama’s Meatballs

Mama’s twist on meatballs is anything but boring. Look for menu items ranging from turkey and sausage to beef, pork and veal, exquisitely blended with out-of-the-ordinary ingredients like broccoli rabe, pesto, blue cheese, arugula, long hots and so much more. Mangia!

Just Jackie

Just Jackie’s has been grilling sandwiches, salads, sides and homemade soups since 2012, taking comfort food to the next level without emptying your wallet. Feel the love and passion in every bite as you dig into their cheesesteaks, burgers, tacos, soups and chilis.

Mean Green Smokin’ Cuisine

Ready for Mean Green’s signature dish? The Alaskan Sundae looks like an ice cream sundae, but this hot, savory dish is made from smoked meat, mashed ‘taters, campfire bean gravy and veggie jimmies. Come get a taste of their down-home menu.
