Whole Foods Glen Mills Launches Farmer’s Pick Program

Whole Foods in Glen Mills is excited to announce that its Farmer’s Pick Program will be up and running again this coming October. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this program, Whole Foods equates it to a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) and sees it as an opportunity for the public to support local farms directly without having to visit the farm personally.

Your membership to the Farmer’s Pick will give you exposure to exclusive produce that’s hand-picked for the program. While there’s not enough picked to sustain Whole Foods’ entire customer base, you’ll have first dibs on what’s brought in. Two levels of membership are available for the Farmer’s Pick Program. For $15 a week, enjoy the Season Sampler. This weekly program is great for a first-timer interested in learning about the many benefits of a CSA. Fruits and vegetables are provided for a single person to last a few days. The step up from the Season Sampler is the Locavore Connoisseur for $30 a week. This weekly pass provides a great amount of vegetarian items as well as a few side dishes each week.

Don’t wait too long to make your decision! This program runs from October 2 through October 23.
