As reported this week in The Daily Local, the West Chester Pedicab has been taking to borough streets since the beginning of July with a mission of pedaling bar patrons to their homes after a night of partying.
“The concept is the brainchild of 30-year-old Fran McMenamin,who came up with the idea while he was tending bar part time at Ryan’s Pub,” reported Gretchen Metz. “His plan is to circulate in downtown West Chester from 6 p.m. until the bars close seven nights a week, offering rides on the back of his bicycle to patrons either going home or to another bar.”
