So What’s Eating Peter Gilmore?

West Chester, Pa – October, 2007 – Gilmore’s, an eleven table BYOB in downtown West Chester has recently received numerous awards from Zagat, Philadelphia Magazine, Main Line Today, Main Line Life and Delaware Today. Given all these praises, what’s eating chef/owner Peter Gilmore? “The public’s perception is they simply can’t get in and the restaurant is booked to capacity every night”. Contrary to popular belief, tables are available most weeknights and Gilmore’s even takes weeknight walk-ins.

Gilmore adds, “I just really want people to know that just because we’ve won all these awards, we have availability and are eager to cook for them”. It really disappoints me when I run into patrons and hear them say congratulations, we’d love to come but we know that we can’t get in”.

Long time Gilmore’s Maitre De Richard Rooney adds, “There truly is a misunderstanding with the public between success and availability. We’d like to set the record straight, Rooney continues ” many tables are available on weeknights and we even offer a complimentary glass of champagne at the 8:30 seating”.

Gilmore’s enhances their award winning menu by promoting two prix fixe options on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The economically priced $35 Bistro Menu is four courses. For a gastronomical experience, try the Chef’s Tasting Menu of five courses for $60.
