Top Outdoor Eating in West Chester

Hi there, I’m Al. You know, the guy who makes an average date seem stellar with the help of the stars and bottle of Merlot. I’m the guy who makes hot dogs taste better at Citizen’s Park. I’m that guy who tricks you into thinking s’mores are a gourmet treat around a campfire when they are really an icky mess. They call me Al Fresco.

Yes, there is just something magical about eating outdoors and luckily West Chester is a great spot to dine under the sky. Here are the best spots to find Al in West Chester:

Romantic Spot: The Mediterranean

This amazing BYO serves up romantic cuisine and has cute little sidewalk tables for one or two lucky couples. Although you are in sight of traffic and window shoppers, you won’t notice them with the incredible specials and your own little table.

Overall Best Spot: Coyote Crossing (pictured above)

You can’t go wrong with this insta-vacation dining spot. What more could you want than a warm breeze over the WC-scape, a mango mojito and tune-tastic background music. It’s so magical that it almost justifies the $2 per-drink price increase over the first floor bar menu.

Popular Spot: Tecca

Ladies, grab your lip gloss and gentlemen don your brand names because this is the trendiest spot in town to be caught dolled up. Tables fill up quickly and cars drive by often so order one of the many panninis so you don’t get too messy when you get the twice-over.

New Spot: Barnaby’s

This new kid on the block has an enjoyable, brand-new outdoor patio. As one WC Disher, Carol, commented recently, “We sat in the back patio area and I was very impressed. You felt like you were in someone’s yard…a nicely landscaped area, and it was quiet. The food was pretty good, too!”

Hidden Spot: Avalon

If it has been at least six months since you’ve visited this little BYO it’s time you tried it again. With a new chef, a new menu and a cute outdoor eating area it’s the best hidden spot in town. Just hurry up and get there to see how good it is for yourself before everyone else hears about it.
