Greg Dodge and his Zavino Hospitality Group have announced plans to open a new location on the Main Line this summer, according to a report from Philly.com. The 5,000-square-foot restaurant will be much larger than both of the previous ventures in Philadelphia. The former truck garage boasted 23-foot ceilings, and Dodge plans to include live trees inside and skylight windows on the roof.
This will be the third location of Zavino, a casual pizza and wine bar, following spots in Center City and University City. The report also notes that the new Zavino will join tenants La Colombe and Bryn & Dane’s at Bryn Mawr Village on Lancaster Avenue. The space is planned to be open by September.
