St. Paddy’s Day Cocktails You Need to Try

St. Patrick’s Day is the ideal holiday for cocktail sipping and socializing with some of your favorite people. In addition to the staple green beer and Irish whiskey, you want to mix up some cocktails that will be simply unforgettable!

Sauza 901 mixologist Eddy Buckingham has created some must-try beverages for your upcoming St. Paddy’s Day celebration. Cheers!

Verde Maria (Recommended for Brunch)

Verde Maria Cocktail

Ingredients

• 2 parts Sauza® 901® Tequila

• ½ part lemon juice

• 2 green tomatoes

• Half an avocado

• 1 celery stick

• ¼ cucumber diced

• 4 dashes of hot sauce

• Cilantro to taste

• Pinch of salt and pepper

Method

Blend green tomatoes, avocado, celery, cucumber and cilantro until smooth. Combine all ingredients over ice in tall glass and stir. Garnish with cilantro leaves.

Bittersweet (Recommended for a Casual Get-Together)

Bittersweet Cocktail

Ingredients

• 2 parts Sauza® 901® Tequila

• 1 part vanilla liqueur

• ½ part agave syrup

• Stout beer

Method

Shake Sauza 901 Tequila, vanilla liqueur and agave syrup over ice in cocktail glass. Strain into chilled highball glass and top with stout beer.

Last Night (Recommended for an Evening Event

Last Night Cocktail

Ingredients

• 2 parts Sauza® 901®

• 1 part maraschino liquor

• 1 part green Chartreuse

• 1 Part lime juice

Method

Combine all ingredients. Shake well. Double strain and serve in a martini glass.
