We all love a good discount on food and drink, and we all love to help those in need. Now, Charity Dine is bringing a way to do both to the Philadelphia area by offering discounted dining certificates to consumers, while donating 20 percent of all sales to well-known, nationally accredited charities.
Charity Dine’s interactive platform enables consumers to purchase discounted restaurant certificates to some of their favorite places to dine, while getting to choose which charity receives 20% of the purchase price of the certificate. Charities partnering with Charity Dine include ActionAIDS, Alzheimer’s Association, Boys & Girls Clubs, Canine Partners for Life, Diabetes Research Institute, Little Smiles, Live Connections, National Tay-Sachs and Allied Diseases Association and the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
Forty Philadelphia-area restaurants are participating with Charity Dine at its inception, including 10 Arts Bistro and Lounge, ELA and World Café Live. “It has always been important for our restaurant to work closely with local charities and non-profits,” Jamie Bertonazzi of 10 Arts Bistro and Lounge said. “Charity Dine has made it easy for us to help give back to the community while offering our patrons great discounts. We’re more than happy to be a partner.”
“Charity Dine offers a win-win-win situation, as customers, restaurants and charities all benefit,” Vice President of Sales Nancy Voluck said. “Diners can enjoy their favorite restaurant or try a new one at a discount, while restaurants experience increased traffic through their doors. And charities receive much-needed contributions. What could be better?”
