On August 24 from 7–9 p.m., join canning instructor Marisa McClellan of Food in Jars for a hands-on canning demo, part of the “Preserving the Harvest” canning series. The canning adventures will take place at Chestnut Hill Friends Meetinghouse. The cost, $30 per person, includes supplies, instruction and a can of fresh tomato salsa to take home with you.
