New Brewery Alert: Rinn Duin Brewing Opens in New Jersey

New Jersey craft beer fans rejoice! A brand new microbrewery, Rinn Duin Brewing, opened in Toms River on January 23. Headed by a father and daughter team, Chip and Jacqui Town, Rinn Duin Brewing is inspired by their family’s Irish heritage.

The name Rinn Duin derives from The Castle Rinn Duin where Chip and Jacqui’s ancestors resided. Their family history is found in the designs and names of their beers, each with a unique and personal story.

The Towns had over 22 years of home-brewing experience before they made the leap to open their own microbrewery. They are making several year round beers right now and have plans for seasonals and specialty one-off beers soon. For now, they are open for tasting, touring and retail sales Thursday and Friday, from 4–8 p.m., and on Saturdays, from 12–6 p.m.

It’s worth noting that New Jersey is seeing a surge in craft brewery openings of late. Village Idiot Brewing Company opened in Mount Laurel in late December.
