The Twisted Tail is launching its new quarterly “Tales of the Distiller” series starting with the master distiller of Wild Turkey, Jimmy Russell, on March 23.
The discussion and tasting with this renowned spirits expert will unfold from 6–8 p.m. and will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn more about Wild Turkey and the man who makes it. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy cocktails crafted with Wild Turkey.
“Since we’re in such a bourbon boom right now, the idea of this series is to expose people to the masterminds behind the craft of these spirits in a relaxed, fun environment,” said master craftsmen and owner of The Twisted Tail, George Reilly. “Guests will learn about the history of products and gain overall insight into the industry.”
Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased online. All who attend will be entered into a raffle to win two tickets to the American Whiskey Convention, which will take place the following evening at Citizens Bank Park.
Prior to the event, guests wishing to try Russell’s Reserve 10-year, The Twisted Tail’s spirit of the month, will receive a $1 discount per ounce.
