While we are eagerly anticipating the opening of Baked Cookies & Dough, there is more cookie news coming out of downtown West Chester. The late night cookie game will continue to grow with the arrival of Insomnia Cookies, which is slated to take the spot at 142 W. Gay St.
The company, founded in 2003 by Seth Berkowitz in his dorm room at University of Pennsylvania, now has almost 100 locations.
The menu includes warm cookies like chocolate chunk, sugar, snickerdoodle, peanut butter chip and double chocolate mint plus brownies, cookie cakes, ice cream and even milk. Many stores have walk-up windows and delivery until 3 a.m.—perfect for those late night study sessions.
The store is expected to open sometime this summer. Stay tuned to PA Eats for news about the opening.
