Zach Morris and Kelsey Bush, the owner and general manager of Haverford’s Green Engine Coffee Co., have joined forces to pursue a new dining concept and signed a lease for the spot at 414 South 2nd St. on Headhouse Square.
Although the finer details are still in the works, here’s what we currently know:
- The dining location will be an all-day concept. Morris, Bush and the future staff will be serving up Rival Bros. Coffee and a larger all-day food menu created by Bush, who is a Culinary Institute of America graduate.
- There will be alcohol! The lease includes a liquor license. Morris, as a sommelier and distinguished beverage educator, will use his beverage industry experience to create a libations menu featuring wine, beer and spirits.
- Ambit Architecture will handle the full-scale renovation of the 2,800-square-foot space.
- The anticipated opening is late 2017/early 2018.
