Based in Folcroft, Delaware County, Herb Fuzion’s locally sourced products span savory to floral and sweet while offering the healthy benefits of local goldenrod and wildflower honeys with herbal infusions for your wellness routine.

Owner Lanise Middleton shared a peek into her PA Preferred honey business, which she established in 2019 after utilizing a homemade honey concoction to soothe her daughter’s cold. Middleton evolved this blend into her best selling Bee Well Honey, a honey infused with turmeric, lemon, ginger, elderberry and other immune-supporting herbs, spices and roots, which flew off the shelves throughout the pandemic and to this day.
Middleton’s products are organized by collection in the Herb Fuzion online store. Comfy Cozy products are warming and gently spiced, like cinnamon honey, vanilla and sweet potato with butter (is your mouth watering, yet?). The honey sauces maximize mealtimes with sweet-hot flavors like jalapeño garlic, chili mango and aged bourbon. Tea in a Bottle honeys offer a bit of TLC with lavender lemon and peach ginger honeys, while elderberry and Bee Well honeys complete the Wellness Collection offerings. You’ll also find a variety of seasonal flavors including summery strawberry honey in addition to other honey products and beeswax candles.
Variety is central to Herb Fuzion’s appeal. Middleton says that offering many flavors of locally sourced and handcrafted honey helps to set her apart. Additionally, she seeks to help customers use honey in innovative ways, whether in cooking, as a sugar substitute, in cocktails or for its medicinal qualities.
Beyond operating Herb Fuzion, Middleton is author of The Honey Book, a cookbook using the Herb Fusion products. It includes recipes and inspiration for “honeytizers,” soups and salads, main dishes, desserts and beverages.
Looking ahead, Middleton is excited to continue expanding the business with Herb Fuzion honey products on store shelves and shipping worldwide.
