Admit it, you really want an iPhone (almost as much as Mary wants ice cream), but like me there’s no way you can afford one. Check this out: Viddler.com is running an awesome video contest this month called MealToday. If you post a video in the MealToday group telling about (and hopefully showing) your best meal of the day, you are entered for a chance to win an iPhone or an HD Camcorder! It’s really easy to enter, since you can record your video with your computer’s webcam.
I haven’t entered yet, but once I shake that camera-shy feeling, we’re hoping to put together a WC Dish team MealToday. Keep an eye out for that.
What’s a MealToday?
Here’s our buddy Colin describing the contest:
If you haven’t heard of Viddler.com, here’s the deal: this is a social video website based in the Philly area! As on YouTube and other video sites, you can upload and watch cool videos, but Viddler has a bunch of really cool features nobody else has. You can record videos on the site straight from your webcam, leave comments and video responses on the timeline, and upload really big, high quality video (take advantage of that FIOS you just had installed!).
WC Dish’s own David Speers wrote up a great profile on Viddler a while ago on his Phillypreneurs blog. Check it out: The Rocky Balboa of Online Video
